The flat warehouse management system, based on PDA, realizes full-process warehouse management through functions such as cargo location allocation, mobile inbound, mobile outbound, mobile sorting, mobile inventory, and cargo location display.
When products are received, dispatched, or their storage locations are adjusted, the palm computer APP is used to bind, replace, unbind, and inventory the balances and storage location numbers, with data transmitted back to the MES system. This replaces manual paper-based operations, ensuring data accuracy and real-time availability while improving worker operational efficiency. By simplifying worker operations and enhancing work efficiency, the system aims to reduce the number of warehouse management personnel.
The flat warehouse management system leverages mobile operations and real-time interaction with the MES system to break down system barriers and ensure data flow unity. This not only guarantees the accuracy and timeliness of balance data but also improves worker operational efficiency, achieving the goal of cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.
By implementing shelf management or dividing the warehouse floor into zones, the warehouse is divided into independent small areas. Each area is assigned a QR code for fixed-location management, binding inventory with storage locations to save space, allowing the warehouse to store more products and reduce venue costs.
Meanwhile, by binding products to storage locations, workers can locate products according to the locations during operations, improving the efficiency of product retrieval.
